So yes, it is lonely at times, and I’m sure I won’t always be able to keep this mindset for this upcoming year, and I’m sure I’ll relapse multiple times and break down and cry my eyes.. but I’m happy. I’m happy with my life and the people I have in it. I have incredible friends and a family that loves me more than I could possibly ask for. I have so much to be thankful for and so much to appreciate. Walking into this new year, I’m starting a new chapter in my life. I’m going to learn how to love and live the life I’ve been given. I refuse to let my greed and sense of want consume me. I will be happy. So let life toss me around and make me endure heartbreaking moments, but I refuse to be broken. In 2010, I will be me and I will be happy.
